Griffin Memorial Hospital is seeking a Housekeeping/Custodial Worker I & II to perform cleaning duties in a 24/7 inpatient facility at Griffin Memorial Hospital. The role includes sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash disposal, and related tasks with training provided for advanced duties.
Must have a valid driver’s license and pass drug screening. Two levels exist: Level I with no experience required, Level II requiring one year custodial experience.

Housekeeping/Custodial Worker I & II
Housekeeping/Custodial Workers have the integral role and basic function of the caring for and cleaning of Griffin Memorial Hospital. Positions in this job family are assigned routine work involving sweeping, mopping, dusting, disposing of trash, and other simple cleaning duties in a 24-hour, 120 bed inpatient facility. Training will be provided in completing more advanced tasks, such as the disposal of restricted or environmentally hazardous materials. Housekeepers/Custodial Workers may also have responsibilities involving the disposal of hazardous materials or other restricted items.
Griffin Memorial Hospital (GMH) is the adult treatment center for the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, serving all 77 counties across the state. Located in Norman, GMH specializes in crisis stabilization and residential treatment for individuals with substance abuse, mental health conditions, and trauma-related disorders.
This facility operates 24/7. Work hours, shifts, and locations may vary based on operational needs.
Weekend and overtime work may be required.
