Overview

National janitorial cleaning company is looking for reliable people to provide commercial cleaning in shopping malls and major retail department stores. Pleasant, drug-free work environment. EOE. Background check required. Must be at least 18 years of age to apply, have reliable transportation, and be willing to work weekends.

Job Responsibilities

1. Works as a member of the housekeeping team cleaning a shopping mall or department store under the direction of a local Site Manager. Works independently and as a member of a team. Performs tasks such as cleaning entrances, restrooms, floors, food courts, and break rooms, often before or after mall/store hours.
2. Uses cleaning equipment and chemicals, following safety procedures. May operate pressure washers, trash compactors, and other cleaning machinery.
3. During mall/store open hours, patrols for hazards, cleans spills, wipes surfaces, and restocks restrooms. Cleans tables and chairs in the Food Court, empties trash, and performs other cleaning duties as assigned.
