Overview

National janitorial cleaning company is looking for reliable people to provide commercial cleaning in shopping malls and major retail department stores. Pleasant, drug-free work environment. EOE. Background check required. Must be at least 18 years of age to apply, have reliable transportation, and be willing to work weekends.

Job Responsibilities

Works as a member of the housekeeping team cleaning a shopping mall or department store under the direction of a local Site Manager. Works independently and as a member of a team. Performs tasks such as cleaning entrances, restrooms, floors, carpets, Food Court, and break rooms. Uses various cleaning machines and safety equipment. May operate pressure washers and move furniture for cleaning.

During mall/store open hours: patrols for hazards, cleans spills, wipes surfaces, scrapes gum, restocks restrooms, and handles trash and trays. Uses cleaning chemicals and equipment as needed. Performs other cleaning tasks as assigned.
