Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Housekeeping Coordinator in Park City, UT to help create memorable guest experiences. You will coordinate housekeeping assignments, manage VIP requests, and liaise with Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to keep operations smooth.

The role requires flexibility with shifts, holidays and weekends and a commitment to service excellence in a resort environment with Utah-specific perks and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and distributes assignment sheets for staff.
• Identifies room cleaning requirements and types on assignments.
• Coordinates VIP service to meet guest needs during stay.
• Acts as liaison across Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, Laundry.
• Assigns rush or special rooms as they occur.
• Communicates to ensure vacant dirty rooms are cleaned on time.

As a Housekeeping Coordinator, a typical day will include:

• Prepares and distributes assignment sheets/workboards to Housekeeping staff.
• Identifies room assignments and type of cleaning required for each room on assignment sheets/workboards.
• Coordinates VIP service to ensure VIP's needs are met throughout the stay.
• Acts as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
• Assigns rush rooms and rooms previously on the 'Do Not Disturb' list to Housekeepers as they occur.
• Communicates with Housekeeping team throughout the day to ensure that vacant dirty rooms are cleaned by the necessary time.

• Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.
• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
• Contribute to team goals.
• Always follow company policies and safety procedures.

To Become a Housekeeping Coordinator at MVW:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
