Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Housekeeping Coordinator to support Owners and guests, coordinating VIP service and aligning Housekeeping with Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry to create memorable vacation experiences.

This full-time on-site role requires weekend/holiday availability and involves preparing assignments, coordinating room cleanings, and ensuring timely service while upholding safety and company standards.

Qualifications

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, bend, twist, pull, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and distributes assignment sheets/workboards to Housekeeping staff.
• Identifies room assignments and type of cleaning required for each room on assignment sheets/workboards.
• Coordinates VIP service to ensure VIP's needs are met throughout the stay.
• Acts as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
• Assigns rush rooms and rooms previously on the ‘Do Not Disturb' list to Housekeepers as they occur.
• Communicates with Housekeeping team throughout the day to ensure that vacant dirty rooms are cleaned by the necessary time.

Typical Day

To Become a Housekeeping Coordinator at MVW: Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days. Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
