Position Summary

Run sold room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update the status of departing guest rooms. Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities. Coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk. Prepare and distribute room assignments to Housekeeping staff. Monitor and update the list of ‘Do Not Disturb’ rooms. Ensure that vacant dirty rooms are cleaned on time, and assign rush rooms and rooms previously on the ‘Do Not Disturb’ list. Complete all required Housekeeping paperwork.

Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Maintain a professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Greet and acknowledge guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guest needs; thank guests sincerely. Uphold quality standards. Build positive relationships with colleagues; support team goals; respond appropriately to concerns. Communicate clearly and professionally; prepare and review documents accurately. Use computers to enter and retrieve work-related information. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Lift, carry, push, pull, and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Work Experience: At least 1 year of related experience.

Supervisory Experience: None required.

Licenses/Certifications: None required.

The pay range is $24.64 to $27.02 per hour, with benefits including health care, flexible spending accounts, 401(k), paid time off, life insurance, disability coverage, and other wellness benefits, subject to eligibility and other conditions.
