Patton Building Services, Inc. is seeking a part-time Housekeeping/Cleaner to join our Charleston, WV team. The role focuses on maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming facilities with reliable performance and attention to detail.

The position offers evening hours (Mon-Fri, 6:00 pm–10:00 pm) and an hourly pay of $12.00. Prior janitorial experience is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate. A background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Clean and sanitize assigned areas
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Maintain restrooms and common areas

Position Overview

We are seeking a part-time Housekeeping/Cleaner to join our Charleston team. This role is ideal for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize assigned areas
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Maintain restrooms and common areas
• Follow proper cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Perform additional cleaning tasks as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of proper cleaning procedures
• Prior janitorial experience preferred — but we will train the right person

Requirements

• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must pass a drug screen
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, and walking
• Hourly Pay: $12.00
• Hours: 20 hours per week
• Schedule : Monday- Friday, 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm
