EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Preferred:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred but not required. Customer service skills are highly recommended.

JOB DUTIES

• Clean and maintain patient care, staff, and visitor areas.
• Perform terminal cleaning of patient rooms.
• Dust furniture, woodwork, equipment, and mop floors.
• Gather and dispose of trash and waste materials.
• Wet-mop rooms, halls, stairways, and public areas.
• Attend educational programs and meetings as required.
• Complete and maintain performance standards as per the Career Ladder Program, including disciplinary procedures.
• Maintain records, reports, and statistics as directed.
• Remove waste and soiled linens, and supply clean linen to patient rooms.
• Clean and disinfect fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors, and walls of bathrooms.
• Perform core functions such as interacting with patients or research participants, maintaining records, or affecting patient or research records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
