HOUSEKEEPING ATTENDANT - FLEX/ Recruitment Bonus $241k

Job Summary: Regularly performs the full range of housekeeping services at Navy Gateway Inn and Suites or Navy Lodge properties, including cleaning guest rooms, public spaces, storage areas, laundry rooms, and exterior spaces. Responsibilities include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, washing, moving items, polishing, cleaning, and removal of debris. Uses hand and powered cleaning equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Clean guest rooms and assigned areas.
2. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, waxers, and polishers.
3. Maintain cleanliness of furniture, walls, partitions, vents, toilet bowls, and other fixtures.
4. Replace window treatments, clean ceiling fixtures, change light bulbs, and move furniture as needed.
5. Ensure bathrooms and kitchens are cleaned and disinfected.
6. Manage room amenities, linens, mattresses, and furniture positioning.
7. Greet guests and maintain guest relations.
8. Ensure privacy and security of guests.
9. Clean corridors, stairways, laundry areas, patios, and balconies; perform deep cleaning as scheduled.
10. Maintain storage areas and communicate status of rooms to supervisors.
11. Perform minor repairs and report major repairs.
12. Clean exterior spaces and assist with loading/unloading supplies.
13. Manage keys and report unusual circumstances.
14. Assist with breakfast setup and cleanup, and handle food safety certifications if required.
15. Complete safety and security training; maintain a safe environment.
16. Perform laundry operations.
17. Possibly operate a vehicle for travel between facilities.
18. Obtain necessary certifications within specified timeframes.
19. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: No experience required; High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Moderate physical effort required.
