Job summary

The Redondo Beach Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, in Redondo Beach, CA, is seeking a friendly Housekeeping Attendant to maintain clean public areas, assist in guest rooms, and help with laundry.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in housekeeping, hospitality, facilities, or a related role.
• Basic cleaning skills and a strong eye for detail.
• Basic maintenance skills are a plus.
• Comfortable working across indoor and outdoor hotel areas.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and use good judgment.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach with guests.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb stairs or ladders when needed.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY

Located along King Harbor in Redondo Beach, The Redondo Beach Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton offers a relaxed coastal stay with marina views and easy access to the South Bay’s beaches, restaurants, and waterfront attractions. The 112-room hotel features beach-inspired accommodations, Azul Café & Bar, a heated pool and spa, complimentary Wi-Fi, bike rentals, and a rooftop patio overlooking the marina. With flexible indoor and outdoor event spaces, including a rooftop terrace and Harbor Room, The Redondo is an inviting setting for both leisure stays and meetings, celebrations, and weddings by the water.

THE ROLE

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you’ll help keep the entire hotel clean, cared for, and running smoothly. From public spaces and outdoor areas to laundry and guestroom support, you’ll be a hands‑on member of the Housekeeping team who isn’t afraid to jump in wherever help is needed. You will:

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of hotel grounds, public areas, and common spaces
• Remove trash and cigarette butts from hotel grounds and keep outdoor areas looking their best
• Clean lobbies, hallways, walkways, railings, stairwells, and other high-traffic areas
• Clean exterior windows, guestroom doors, sliding glass doors, and other assigned areas
• Maintain pool furniture, ice and vending machines, public benches, exterior light fixtures, sand urns, and dumpster areas
• Run laundry and assist with distributing or handling linens as needed
• Empty Housekeeping trash and support Room Attendants with daily housekeeping needs
• Shampoo carpets and turn mattresses as assigned
• Report maintenance concerns, damage, and missing or found items to the Housekeeping Supervisor
• Assist the Maintenance team with basic repairs, including minor plumbing and carpentry tasks
• Safely use approved cleaning products and equipment
• Communicate professionally and courteously with guests and fellow team members
• Support other departments and hotel team members wherever needed
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the property

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and use good judgment
• Comfortable working independently while supporting a larger team
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach with guests
• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to jump in wherever needed
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and work with approved cleaning agents
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders as needed
• Ability to frequently walk, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, reach, push, pull, lift, and carry
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. independently or use a dolly when needed
