Job summary

The Belamar Hotel, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton, in Manhattan Beach, CA, is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to help keep the property clean and welcoming. You will cover public spaces, laundry, and guestroom support, joining a hands-on housekeeping team.

Responsibilities include maintaining outdoor and indoor areas, assisting with linens, and reporting maintenance concerns. A1+ year in housekeeping and strong attention to detail are preferred; ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in housekeeping or related role.
• Strong attention to detail and basic cleaning skills.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in hotel environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of hotel grounds, public areas, and common spaces.
• Remove trash and cigarette butts from hotel grounds and keep outdoor areas looking their best.
• Clean lobbies, hallways, walkways, railings, stairwells, and other high-traffic areas.
• Clean exterior windows, guestroom doors, sliding glass doors, and other assigned areas.
• Maintain pool furniture, ice and vending machines, public benches, exterior light fixtures, sand urns, and dumpster areas.
• Run laundry and assist with distributing or handling linens as needed.
• Empty Housekeeping trash and support Room Attendants with daily housekeeping needs.
• Shampoo carpets and turn mattresses as assigned.
• Report maintenance concerns, damage, and missing or found items to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Assist the Maintenance team with basic repairs, including minor plumbing and carpentry tasks.
• Safely use approved cleaning products and equipment.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with guests and fellow team members.
• Support other departments and hotel team members wherever needed.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the property.

THE ROLE

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you’ll help keep the entire hotel clean, cared for, and running smoothly. From public spaces and outdoor areas to laundry and guestroom support, you’ll be a hands‑on member of the Housekeeping team who isn’t afraid to jump in wherever help is needed. You will:

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 1+ year of experience in housekeeping, hospitality, facilities, or a related role
• Basic cleaning skills and a strong eye for detail
• Basic maintenance skills are a plus
• Comfortable working across both indoor and outdoor areas of a hotel
• Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and use good judgment
• Comfortable working independently while supporting a larger team
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach with guests
• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to jump in wherever needed
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and work with approved cleaning agents
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders as needed
• Ability to frequently walk, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, reach, push, pull, lift, and carry
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. independently or use a dolly when needed
