Job summary

NALHE is seeking a dedicated environmental service associate to maintain a neat, sanitary, and safe environment in the medical center under general supervision.

You will perform a range of cleaning tasks—from patient areas to storage and bathrooms—while adhering to policies and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Upholds Policies & Procedures and applicable laws
• Cleans equipment, surgical areas, storage areas, furniture & beds
• Cleans spills & flooded areas
• Deep cleans, sanitizes rooms, mattresses, vents, and bathrooms
• Operates electrical cleaning equipment
• Strips, cleans, and polishes floors and walls; vacuums carpeted areas
• Dilutes cleaning solutions
• Collects and disposes of waste including bio-hazardous medical waste per procedures
• Coordinates housekeeping functions with other departments
• May perform other duties as required

• Coordinates housekeeping functions w/ other departments
• May perform other duties as required
