Job summary

Generations is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in resident apartments and community areas at The Worthington in Fort Collins. You’ll ensure safe, home-like environments and handle linens, laundry tasks, and routine turnover of vacant apartments.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification, and English literacy. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service residents’ apartments, common areas, guest rooms, and offices.
• Change linens in apartments as scheduled.
• May have laundry duties.
• Spot clean carpets as needed.
• Service apartments as they become vacant and ensure efficient turnover.
• Review the facility’s environment and direct repair requests.
• Assist personnel and residents to create a home-like atmosphere.
• All other duties assigned.

The Housekeeper maintains cleanliness standards in resident apartments and community common areas. The housekeeping team is an integral part of creating a home-like environment for every resident. Housekeepers care for and maintain all equipment and tools used in daily work and comply with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation. They incorporate the Generation's Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule

• Full-time at The Worthington, Mondays through Fridays, from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
• 8-hour shifts

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning and servicing residents’ apartments, common areas, guest rooms, and offices.
• Change linens in apartments as scheduled.
• May have laundry duties.
• Spot clean carpets as needed.
• Service apartments as they become vacant. Ensure efficient apartment turnover.
• Review the physical environment of the facility regularly and direct requests for repair and replacement.
• Assist personnel and residents in establishing a home-like atmosphere.
• All other duties assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid, training available upon hire.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and follow written and oral instructions in the English language.
• Experience in housekeeping is preferred, but not required.
