Job Description:

We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic Housekeeping Associates to join the Equinox team. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organization based in a state-of-the-art, luxury facility in Philadelphia.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring the club and exercise equipment are clean and well maintained, providing excellent customer service to members, prospective members, and guests
  • Maintaining the sidewalk entrance and lobby's presentability
  • Cleaning the locker room and stocking all locker room consumables
  • Cleaning and organizing storage, laundry, exercise, and coat rooms
  • Maintaining an adequate supply of towels on the exercise floor
  • Providing maintenance for all equipment
  • Receiving and storing all deliveries
  • Assisting with special events
  • Notifying the Housekeeping Manager when rooms or equipment need immediate attention

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment
  • Prior experience in cleaning and laundry services (highly preferred)
  • Ability to service athletic equipment and experience with cleaning products and hand tools
  • Strong customer service, organizational, communication, and multi-tasking skills
