Job summary

Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah is seeking a Part Time Housekeeping Associate to maintain patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, and other areas with professional, friendly service. The role supports a clean, safe hospital environment and contributes to a compassionate care culture.

In this position you will follow a daily cleaning schedule, apply aseptic cleaning techniques, and perform special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and tools preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, and other areas by providing housekeeping services.
• Ensure optimum sanitation and a clean environment throughout the hospital.
• Utilize aseptic techniques by performing specialized cleaning processes, using a variety of cleaning devices.
• Follow a daily cleaning schedule according to area needs.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to performance improvement activities.
• Ensure customer quality expectations are met and provide courteous, caring service.
