Job summary

Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah is seeking a compassionate Housekeeping Associate (DAYS) to maintain patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, stairways and elevators with high cleanliness standards. You will follow established cleaning procedures, use various cleaning devices, observe PPE and safety policies, and support a welcoming, safe environment for patients and staff.

This role requires English proficiency and the ability to pass background checks and drug screens.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and tools preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, Stairways, elevators and other areas by providing housekeeping services.
• Insure optimum sanitation and a clean environment throughout the hospital.
• Utilize clean techniques by performing specialized cleaning processes, using a variety of cleaning devices.
• Follow all established PPE policies when handling chemicals and/or cleaning.
• Use appropriate safety equipment when handling hazardous waste and/or chemicals.
• Follow a daily cleaning schedule according to area needs.
• Complete special projects as assigned by the department Director or/and Supervisor.
• Participate in staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
• Ensure customers receive courteous and caring service.

• **You will follow a daily cleaning schedule according to area needs.**

• **You will complete special projects as assigned by the department Director or/and Supervisor.**

• You willparticipatein staff meetings and activelyparticipatein performance improvement activities. ****

• **You will ensure that customer quality expectations are met and that all customers are given courteous and caring service.**
