Job summary

Role Description

The Housekeeping Associate is a full-time, on-site role located at Vineyard Park Senior Living in Seattle, WA. This role is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable resident apartments, common areas, and back-of-house spaces through daily cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom sanitation. The Housekeeping Associate handles laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and personal clothing in an organized and timely manner. Day-to-day tasks include restocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues, following infection control and safety procedures, and supporting move-in/move-out cleaning. The role also involves respectful interaction with residents, families, and team members to support a welcoming community environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, sanitizing, and Laundry responsibilities in a senior living environment.
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally and courteously with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Effective Organization Skills to manage multiple tasks, maintain schedules, and ensure supplies and linens are well maintained.
• Willingness to participate in Training on safety, infection control, and community policies, and openness to ongoing learning.
• Prior housekeeping or custodial experience, preferably in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or similar settings.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry items as required for housekeeping duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; background checks and compliance with applicable regulations may be required.
