Job summary

Carillon Senior Living in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Housekeeping Associate for the Health Center team. The role offers a Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM schedule with a pay range of $12–$15 per hour.

You will clean apartments and common areas, follow safety practices, and support residents with a warm, professional touch. Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year of housekeeping experience, good English communication, and a commitment to confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of housekeeping/cleaning experience preferred.
• Must have at least a 9th grade education.
• Must be able to communicate in English and follow instructions.
• Must maintain resident confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping duties in apartments and common areas (vacuuming, bathrooms, kitchens, dusting).
• Maintain equipment and supplies in good condition.
• Attend in-service trainings and complete tasks per supervisor priorities.
• Operate safely with proper chemical handling and sanitation standards.
• Support hospitality focus by engaging with residents and staff professionally.

Summary:

Under general direction from the Environmental Services Manager, the Housekeeping Associate cleans assigned rooms and contents using proper chemicals and to prescribed standards according to weekly schedule, adhering to all Carillon safety practices and standards, and handling all resident and Carillon property with exceptional care.

Essential Job Duties:

• Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments, such as: vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting of all cleared flat surfaces.
• Performs general housekeeping duties of hallways and common areas as directed by supervisor.
• Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
• Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
• Clean, dust, sweep, and mop assigned rooms when scheduled.
• Store chemicals and equipment as directed.
• Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
