Job description

The Housekeeping Assistant is responsible for maintaining Ecumen facilities in a clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition. This position aims to provide a pleasant living environment for residents and an organized, safe working environment for staff.

Ecumen North Branch is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN). Ecumen North Branch includes 51 assisted living rental apartments, 68 nursing home beds, 20 residences for seniors requiring memory care, and transitional care services.

Opportunity Details:

Schedule:

1. On-Call/Casual - Flexible Schedule
2. Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm
3. Work at least 4 shifts/month (two must be on a weekend)
4. Must work 2 holidays/year (double pay)

Pay:

1. Targeted pay range: $18.58 to $19.95 per hour
2. Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, certifications, licenses, and education.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform cleaning tasks according to community policies and standards.
2. Sweep, vacuum, dust, wash, wax, scour, and sanitize assigned areas. Move furniture and equipment as needed.
3. Maintain safety in all assigned areas and report safety or maintenance concerns.
4. Follow all regulatory compliance standards.
5. Maintain equipment and supply levels; report needs to supervisor.
6. Assist with resident needs as applicable.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, including HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, OSHA, and others.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience.
• Experience working with seniors.
