Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager in Indio, CA to support the Housekeeping Manager and drive guest and owner satisfaction through housekeeping excellence.

You will assist with hiring, training, and developing staff, manage inventory and purchasing, and help track weekly and monthly cleans reports and financials. This role requires supervisory experience and a strong customer service mindset in hospitality.

Qualifications

• Ability to coach, mentor, train and develop staff.
• 3 years related housekeeping experience.
• 2+ years supervisory experience preferred.
• 1-3 years hospitality customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Housekeeping Manager in all operations and budgetary controls.
• Ensure QA, safety, and Loss Prevention standards are followed.
• Assist with hiring, training, coaching and developing staff.
• Handle inventory, purchasing, and weekly/monthly cleaning reports and track financials.
• Participate in daily unit cleaning and inspection when necessary.

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager role holds hourly staff accountable to the Quality Assurance (QA) process and ensures departmental compliance with Quality Assurance, Loss Prevention and safety standards procedures. This role is responsible for inventory, purchasing, completing weekly and monthly cleans report and assisting with tracking financials.
