Job summary

Ayden Healthcare of Oregon is seeking a Full/Part-Time Housekeeping Assistant to support environmental services for residents. Shifts will vary and the role may occasionally include Laundry duties; must work every other weekend and every other holiday to meet facility needs.

The position emphasizes teamwork and delivering quality resident care, while ensuring safety and timely, organized work. You will perform routine cleaning, sanitizing, and supply management.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Prior housekeeping experience is required, preferably in a nursing home environment.

Responsibilities

• Performing basic housekeeping support procedures for residents as required.
• Cleaning and sanitizing all areas on a regular basis
• Sweeping and mopping
• Trash removal
• Following daily cleaning schedule as required
• Maintaining and organizing cleaning supplies
