Job summary

Ayden Healthcare of Oregon is seeking a housekeeping assistant to support residents and maintain a clean, safe environment within the facility. The role requires flexibility to work varied days and hours, and may include occasional laundry duties.

Shifts alternate weekends and holidays to ensure continuous coverage and quality resident care. Responsibilities include basic housekeeping tasks, cleaning and sanitizing areas, trash removal, and keeping supplies organized.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Ability to move (sit, stand, bend, lift) intermittently throughout the work day.
• Prior housekeeping experience is required, preferably in a nursing home environment.

Responsibilities

• Performing basic housekeeping support procedures for residents as required.
• Cleaning and sanitizing all areas on a regular basis
• Sweeping and mopping
• Trash removal
• Following daily cleaning schedule as required
• Maintaining and organizing cleaning supplies
