Job summary

Sherbrooke Village is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to maintain clean and safe environments for residents. Duties include sweeping, dusting, washing windows, carpet care, furniture arrangement, and general cleaning, with shifts FT Days 6:30AM–2:30PM or PT Evening 12:00PM–8:00PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills for scheduling and communication.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors.
• Dust surfaces.
• Wash windows.
• Shampoo and vacuum carpets.
• Arrange furniture.
• General cleaning of furniture, equipment, fixtures, and hardware.
• Other duties as assigned.

Available Full-Time & Part-Time Shifts:

• FT Days: 6:30AM - 2:30 PM- M-F; Every other weekend required
• PT Evening: 12:00PM - 8:00PM; 3 days per week

Qualifications of Housekeeping Assistant:

• High School Diploma or general equivalency is preferred
• 1 year of experience is preferred
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to communicate in English in writing and verbally in conversation with different levels of staff, patient families and any outside customer
