Job summary

Astoria Park Senior Living in Pasadena, CA is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents.

You will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, ensure rooms meet our high standards, and report damages or concerns promptly. The role requires reliability, teamwork and compassionate service in a supportive facility.

Pay starts at $18.57 per hour with a competitive benefits package and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience in senior care preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
• Ensure rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
• Notify superiors on damages, deficits and disturbances.
• Deal with complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
