Valley View Health and Rehabilitation, LLC is seeking a dependable Housekeeping Attendant to maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment across the facility. Under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping, you will perform daily cleaning duties, sanitize resident rooms, and ensure areas meet cleanliness standards to support resident comfort and safety.

Qualifications include English proficiency, attention to detail, and a positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled
• Ability to perform essential job functions, including physical and sensory requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties in assigned areas according to established schedules
• Clean, sanitize, dust, damp-wipe, polish, and spot-clean resident rooms and furnishings using approved cleaning agents and equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of resident room items including beds, bed rails, nightstands, tables, chairs, shelves, light fixtures, TVs, radios, pictures, feeding tables, and door facings
• Follow proper cleaning procedures and infection control protocols at all times
• Ensure a consistently high standard of cleanliness throughout resident rooms and common areas
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department
