About The Role

In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities as a Housekeeping Assistant will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you will do so with kindness and attention to detail.

HC One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with some experience, although we will provide comprehensive training. You should have excellent time management and organizational skills, along with a positive attitude and the ability to get along well with others. Strong communication skills are essential, including listening and giving clear instructions. Always communicate with consideration and kindness.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns, escalating issues if necessary.
