Faith Haven Senior Careteam in Jackson, MI is hiring a part-time Housekeeping and Laundry Aide. Responsibilities include cleaning resident and public areas, sorting and washing linen, delivering laundry, and maintaining a safe work area.

Shift options include 12:00 PM–8:00 PM with rotating weekends and some holidays. Requirements include ability to lift up to 30 pounds, clear English communication, and teamwork to support residents and facility staff.

Will ensure cleanliness in resident areas, public areas, and support offices ensuring satisfaction is a top priority. This position is responsible for collecting and sorting soiled linen, loading and unloading washing machines, and folding clean linen. This position also counts the amount of linen processed each day, delivers clean laundry to assigned units, and cleans and sanitizes the work area, including machines, worktables, and sorting areas.
You will earn:

• Starting wages $15.25 - 17.20 per hour depending on experience! NEW WAGES!
• Yearly Wage Increases

We can work with your scheduling needs:

• 8 hour shifts - All shifts includerotating Weekends (every other weekend) and Some Holidays
• Part Time
• Afternoon Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• Laundry Aide requirements: Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel.
• Dust mop and damp mop resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, sitting and lobby areas, and other areas as assigned.
• Collect and properly dispose of trash and soiled linen.
• Mix and handle chemicals in a safe manner.
• Strip and refinish floors, clean and shampoo carpets, wash walls, and clean blinds, as assigned.
