Job summary

Bay Shores Senior Care and Rehab Center in Michigan–Bay City is seeking a part-time Housekeeping & Laundry Aide to keep resident and public areas clean and well-supplied. You will collect, wash, dry, fold, and redistribute linens and maintain clean surfaces, floors, and equipment.

Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential to support a welcoming, healing environment. Starting wage up to $16.85 per hour, with $0.85 Hero/Hazard pay and a $0.50 shift premium for 2nd/3rd shifts.

Our Housekeeping & Laundry Aides perform a variety of tasks to maintain a clean and pleasant environment for all of our guests and residents. Will ensure cleanliness in resident areas, public areas, and support offices ensuring satisfaction is a top priority. This position is responsible for collecting and sorting soiled linen, loading and unloading washing machines, and folding clean linen. This position also counts the amount of linen processed each day, delivers clean laundry to assigned units, and cleans and sanitizes the work area, including machines, worktables, and sorting areas.

You will earn: up to $16.85 starting wages depending on shift!

• $15.50 per hour base wages
• PLUS $0.85 per hour Hero/Hazard pay!
• PLUS $0.50 Shift Premium for 2nd & 3rd Shift (hours between 3PM - 7AM) Yearly Wage Increases

How You Will Help People Every Day

• Attend to multiple areas of the facility to ensure cleanliness and dispose of trash
• Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces and floors
• Assist with collecting, washing, drying, folding and redistributing laundry/linens
• You may be assigned housekeeping projects outside on the facility grounds
