Job summary

Brownsburg Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated laundry/housekeeping associate to keep linens and residents’ clothing clean and well organized. You will work on-site, supporting infection control and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for residents.

No advanced degree required; the role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and physical stamina, with on-the-job training and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior laundry/housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare experience a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and residents’ clothing.
• Ensure proper labeling and return of residents’ personal laundry.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.
• Adhere to infection control and facility safety procedures.
• Assist housekeeping as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Shifts Available:

• Full-Time Day Shift
• Part-Time Evening Shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and residents’ clothing
• Ensure proper labeling and return of residents’ personal laundry
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area
• Adhere to infection control and facility safety procedures
• Assist housekeeping as needed
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred (healthcare experience a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to lift laundry bags and stand/walk for extended periods
