Regency at St Clair Shores is hiring a part-time Housekeeper/Aide for the day shift to maintain a clean, safe, and homelike environment for residents, staff, and the public.

The role requires cleaning rooms and common areas, proper waste handling, safety signage, and adherence to chemical safety procedures. Cross training in laundry is available; a GED or high school diploma is preferred.

Formación

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Prefer one year experience as a Housekeeper.

Responsabilidades

• Cleans assigned resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas daily according to facility procedures.
• Disposes of trash and waste in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Posts signs to indicate safety hazards when housekeeping activities pose environmental hazards.
• Comply with safety instructions when using chemical substances; refer to labels and MSDS for instructions.
• Cross train in Laundry and assist as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cleans (dust, dry mop, wet mop, sanitize, scrub) assigned resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas daily according to facility procedures.
• Disposes of trash and waste, including biohazardous waste and other materials that require special handling, in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Posts signs to indicate safety hazards at any time housekeeping activities pose environmental hazards to staff, residents, visitors or others in the facility.
• Comply with all safety instructions and procedures when using chemical substances. Refers to labels and Material Safety Data Sheets for instructions.
• Cross train in Laundry and assist as needed

Education and/or Experience

• Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Prefer one year experience as a Housekeeper
