Job summary

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation in North Carolina is currently seeking a part-time Housekeeping Aide to join our team of caregivers. This role focuses on keeping patient areas clean and comfortable, including lobbies, rooms, and common spaces.

You will follow safety guidelines, stock supplies, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff. We offer a supportive workplace, opportunities for growth, and recognition events as part of our commitment to our employees.

Responsibilities

• Clean lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, patient rooms, offices, halls, nurses' stations, dining rooms, and beauty parlor.
• Sweep and mop floors, clean rugs, carpets, and furniture.
• Clean toilets, sinks, and other restroom fixtures.
• Dust furniture, pictures, and baseboard. Wash walls, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty and clean wastebaskets.
• Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenish bathroom supplies for hand washing at sink areas.
• Replenish disposable gloves for nursing.
• Clean and disinfect oxygen machines and other equipment.
• Disinfect patient beds, mattress, furniture, drawers, bathroom, and closet when patient has been discharged.
• Follow guidelines for labeling of cleaning supplies, wearing appropriate personal protection equipment, etc.
• Label products and bottles according to facility guidelines.
