Job summary

The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to keep resident areas clean and safe for everyone in the facility. Responsibilities include dusting, mopping, restroom cleaning, and general sanitization in accordance with standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, and good English reading/writing skills. LTC experience is a plus; must be 18 or older. Background screening applies; we are an equal opportunity employer.

We are looking for a qualified, hard-working and customer service driven Housekeeping Aide to join their team.

Housekeeping Aide Job Description:

Provide a clean and safe environment for our residents, visitors, and staff in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and Quality Center standards. Perform day to day housekeeping services such as dusting, moping, and collecting trash. Must be flexible, detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task.

Housekeeping Aide Duties Include but are not limited to:

Maintain resident rooms, dining rooms, offices and all general areas of facility by cleaning restrooms, walls, baseboards, doors, mirrors, dusting, removing trash, sweeping, mopping, wiping down tables and furniture while making sure to follow all proper cleaning techniques and protocols.

Housekeeping Aide Requirements/Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation
• Experience in LTC preferred but not required
