Job summary

Meadowview Nursing Center in Pell City, AL is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and homelike environment for its 59 residents. You will perform routine cleaning tasks, disinfect high-touch surfaces, and assist with laundry to support resident comfort and staff efficiency.

Qualifications

• Routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Disinfection of high-touch surfaces to prevent germ spread.
• Assistance with laundry duties including washing, drying, and folding.
• Inventory management of cleaning supplies and requisitioning when needed.
• Collaboration with staff to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
• Participation in training on cleaning techniques, safety, and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and manage trash disposal per protocol.
• Assist with laundry duties and distribution of linens.
• Maintain cleaning supply inventory and notify supervisor when replenishment is needed.
• Work with team to complete tasks in a timely and safe manner.
