Job summary

The Lodge at Sandhills Carolina, operated by SanStone Health & Rehabilitation, is seeking a Housekeeping Aide for our brand-new facility in Pinehurst, NC. You will maintain clean and safe environments for residents, and support a welcoming atmosphere for both residents and staff.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms and common areas, restrooms, and support spaces; handling supplies, and following PPE guidelines to ensure sanitation and safety.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and PPE.
• Reliable and hardworking with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Clean lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, patient rooms, offices, halls, nurses' stations, dining rooms, and beauty parlor.
• Sweep and mop floors, clean rugs, carpets, and furniture.
• Clean toilets, sinks, and other restroom fixtures.
• Dust furniture, pictures, and baseboard. Wash walls, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty and clean wastebaskets, and transport trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenish bathroom supplies for hand washing at sink areas and disposable gloves for nursing.
• Clean and disinfect oxygen machines and other equipment.
• Clean patient beds, mattress, furniture, drawers, bathroom, and closet when patient has been discharged.
• Follow guidelines for labeling of cleaning supplies, wearing appropriate personal protection equipment, etc. and label products and bottles according to facility guidelines.
