Riverton Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environments for residents and staff. The role emphasizes attention to detail and adherence to infection control practices in a fast-paced setting.

Daily pay available. This full-time position offers competitive pay of $13–$16 per hour and a shift from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, supporting our commitment to exceptional care and comfort for residents.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow established safety precautions and manufacturer instructions when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all assigned duties in accordance with established housekeeping standards, safety guidelines, and infection control practices.
• Clean assigned areas, including resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, nursing stations, handrails, dining rooms, shower rooms, public restrooms, and offices.
• Maintain utility and storage rooms in a clean, organized condition.
• Disinfect and sanitize equipment, furnishings, and supplies according to procedures.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces as assigned.
• Clean the inside of resident room windows, door panels, and window sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, stocking supplies, and storing chemicals securely.
• Follow safety precautions and guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply needs to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high cleanliness standards.
