Jupiter Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to join our team. The role focuses on daily cleaning tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include following the Director of Housekeeping Services' guidance, cleaning furnishings and facilities, managing waste properly, and adhering to cleaning schedules. The position requires a high school diploma and on-the-job training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma is required or equivalent.
• On-the-job training provided to learn housekeeping procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping department in accordance with current Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Follow rules and instructions by the Director of Housekeeping Services to keep the facility clean, safe, and comfortable.
• Clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, in rest rooms and recreational areas as instructed.
• Discard waste/trash in proper containers and reline trash receptacles with plastic liners.
• Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as possible.
