Job summary

Jupiter Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to perform day-to-day cleaning and maintenance in accordance with applicable standards, guidelines and regulations. The role supports the Housekeeping department and requires following directions from the Director to keep the facility clean, safe, and comfortable.

Responsibilities include cleaning and polishing furnishings, disposing of waste properly, and ensuring cleaning schedules are followed.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, in rest rooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed.
• Discard waste/trash in proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner.
• Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as possible.

Housekeeping Aide Job Description:

• The primary is to perform the day-to day activities of the Housekeeping department in accordance with current Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Must follow rules and instructions by the Director of Housekeeping Services, to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
• Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling unites, in rest rooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed.
