Job summary

Apple Rehab seeks a Housekeeping Aide for a full-time role (40 hours/week), including every other weekend, at $17 per hour. You will maintain a clean, orderly environment for residents and staff, clean rooms and bathrooms, and support infection control and safety programs.

Preferred candidates have hospital or long-term care experience. Benefits for 30+ hours weekly are offered, including health insurance, PTO, holidays, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Ability to read labels and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and to take appropriate action.
• Ability to visually assess all aspects of facility.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality housekeeping services for residents and staff.
• Clean resident rooms and bathrooms on a scheduled basis.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and assist with supplies.
