Four Chaplains Nursing Care Center is seeking a Housekeeping & Laundry Aide to keep resident and public areas clean and to support laundry needs. You will collect and sort soiled linen, operate washers/dryers, deliver clean linen to units, and sanitize work areas.

Shifts include days and weekends, with rotating schedules. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, follow instructions in English, and provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff.

Our Housekeeping & Laundry Aides perform a variety of tasks to maintain a clean and pleasant environment for all of our guests and residents. Will ensure cleanliness in resident areas, public areas, and support offices ensuring satisfaction is a top priority. This position is responsible for collecting and sorting soiled linen, loading and unloading washing machines, and folding clean linen. This position also counts the amount of linen processed each day, delivers clean laundry to assigned units, and cleans and sanitizes the work area, including machines, worktables, and sorting areas.

You will earn:

• Starting Wages $14.50 per hour
• PLUS $0.85 per hour Hero/Hazard pay
• Yearly Wage Increases

We need your help with these scheduling needs:

• Full Time positions available: DAY SHIFT; 7A-3P
• Part Time positions available: AFTERNOONS/EVENINGS: 1P-9P
• ALL SHIFTS INCLUDE ROTATING WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS

How you will help people every day:

• Attend to multiple areas of the facility to ensure cleanliness and dispose of trash
• Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces and floors
• Assist with collecting, washing, drying, folding and redistributing laundry/linens
• You may be assigned housekeeping projects outside on the facility grounds
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors. Through kind words and encouragement, you will promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.
• Sort soiled linen, load and unload washers and dryers.
• Operate computer-operated washers and dryers according to operating procedures.
• Sort and fold clean linen accurately and in a timely manner.
• Place clean linen in a delivery cart and deliver to appropriate units, using caution when pushing carts.
