Ridgewood Rehabilitation & Care Center in Seward, Nebraska, seeks an Environmental Services Assistant to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff. Your attention to detail supports resident comfort and our commitment to exceptional care.

We provide training and opportunities for growth, with a schedule that includes weekdays and alternating weekend shifts at our 63-bed skilled nursing community.

Position Overview

As an Environmental Services Assistant, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, and fellow team members. Your attention to detail helps support resident comfort and contributes to our commitment to exceptional care.

Primary Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, and common spaces
• Follow established sanitation and infection prevention procedures
• Ensure a safe and pleasant environment throughout the facility
• Respond courteously to resident and visitor needs
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness standards across the community
• Support the overall resident experience through quality service and attention to detail

Schedule

We are currently seeking a team member available for:

• Monday - Friday 7 A.M. - 2 P.M.
• Every other weekend
• One weekday shift each week

Qualifications

We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds. Previous housekeeping, hospitality, custodial, environmental services, or customer service experience is beneficial, but not required.
