Aventura Healthcare Group is seeking a part-time housekeeping associate in Florida to maintain a clean, safe facility environment. The role involves bed making, resident room cleaning, and upkeep of both private and public areas, including dining rooms and bathrooms.

Applicants should be detail-oriented with physical stamina and prior long-term care or housekeeping experience preferred. Hours are discussed at interview; on-call rotation is not required, but weekend/holiday work is expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean atmosphere throughout the facility.
• Cleans and makes resident beds as needed.
• Cleans resident rooms including wheelchair, commode, etc.
• Maintains supplies such as bathroom tissue, towels, and soap.
• Changes room curtains and draperies as needed.
• Keeps public areas clean, including dining and day rooms, break room, and bathrooms.
• Dusts and wets mops corridors; removes trash; reports repairs.
• Checks supplies/inventory and notifies supervisor when low.
• Inspects cleaning procedures/equipment for safety and standards.
• Suggests improvements to procedures/equipment to maintain high standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Part Time

$15.00 per hour

• Maintains clean atmosphere throughout the facility.

  • Cleans and makes resident beds, if needed

  • Cleans resident rooms wheelchair, commode, etc…

  • Maintains adequate supplies such as bathroom tissue, paper towels, and hand soap.

  • Changes room divider curtains and window draperies as needed.

• Maintains clean atmosphere in all public areas, including dining room, dayrooms, break room, public bathrooms, etc.

  • Dusts and wet mops all corridors.

  • Removes trash from all areas.

  • Reports any needed repairs to supervisor

• Checks supplies and inventory and informs supervisor when low.

• Inspects and coordinates cleaning in procedures and/or equipment to maintain high standards and safe working conditions.

• Makes suggestion for changes in procedures and/or equipment to maintain high standards and safe working conditions.

• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
