Job summary

Aventura at the Bay is seeking a part-time Housekeeping staff member to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for residents and visitors. Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and public areas, changing linens, stocking supplies, and reporting repairs.

The role requires physical stamina and reliability; prior long-term care or housekeeping experience is preferred. On-site, flexible weekend and holiday shifts are expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean atmosphere throughout the facility.
• Cleans and makes resident beds and cleans rooms.
• Maintains supplies such as bathroom tissue, towels, and soap.
• Cleans public areas including dining rooms and bathrooms.
• Reports repairs to supervisor and coordinates with maintenance.
• Inspects cleaning procedures and equipment for safety.
• Suggests changes to procedures or equipment to improve standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

$15.00 per hour

• Maintains clean atmosphere throughout the facility.

  • Cleans and makes resident beds, if needed

  • Cleans resident rooms wheelchair, commode, etc…

  • Maintains adequate supplies such as bathroom tissue, paper towels, and hand soap.

  • Changes room divider curtains and window draperies as needed.

• Maintains clean atmosphere in all public areas, including dining room, dayrooms, break room, public bathrooms, etc.

  • Dusts and wet mops all corridors.

  • Removes trash from all areas.

  • Reports any needed repairs to supervisor

• Checks supplies and inventory and informs supervisor when low.

• Inspects and coordinates cleaning in procedures and/or equipment to maintain high standards and safe working conditions.

• Makes suggestion for changes in procedures and/or equipment to maintain high standards and safe working conditions.

• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
