Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to maintain cleanliness across our Rehabilitation Center. You will clean, dust, mop, and service resident rooms, nursing stations, break rooms and dietary kitchens to assure a high standard of hygiene.

Applicants should work well with staff, follow established safety procedures, and support infection control and resident confidentiality. Healthcare facility experience is preferred; we offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities

• Must be able to work with other staff and communicate appropriately with residents, visitors and staff.
• Must be able to work with or without supervision and be a team player.
• Must qualify for employment after criminal background check per Minnesota DHS guidelines
• Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing facility or assisted living community

Responsibilities

• Daily Cleaning & Room Maintenance: Clean and service resident rooms, nurses’ stations, break rooms, and dietary kitchens; dust, polish, mop, disinfect surfaces, and maintain sanitary conditions of all areas and equipment.
• Resident & Equipment Hygiene: Disinfect toilets, tubs, sinks, mirrors, wheelchairs, beds, utensils, and other equipment; change divider curtains as needed and ensure all hygiene standards are met.
• Supply & Utility Management: Replenish room supplies, maintain orderly utility storage areas, and report equipment wear or damage to supervisors for timely repair.
• Safety & Infection Control Compliance: Follow established safety procedures, use chemicals properly with protective equipment, observe potential hazards, use proper body mechanics, and participate in emergency drills.
• Facility Policies & Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to facility policies, infection control standards, and Minnesota Department of Health regulations; maintain knowledge of residents’ rights and confidentiality requirements.
• Professional Development & Quality Improvement: Participate in continuing education, audits, inspections, and quality improvement programs to support a safe, inclusive, and customer-service–focused workplace.

Housekeeping Aide

Position Summary

The Housekeeping Aide Maintains the facility according to the established housekeeping rules, policies and procedures. To secure a high standard of cleanliness for our residents. This position is responsible to clean, dust and mop all areas in the Rehabilitation Center to assure cleanliness
