NewCourtland is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to maintain a safe, sanitary, comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will clean rooms and common areas daily, dispose of waste, and monitor safety on shift, in line with facility policies.
Ideal candidates have at least one year of custodian or janitor experience, can work with minimal supervision, and are able to perform duties that require standing and physical activity throughout the day.
The Housekeeping Aide provides cleaning services to provide a safe, sanitary, comfortable and homelike environment for residents, staff and the public. Housekeeping services are in accord with facility policies and procedures, and consistent with state and federal laws and regulations to maintain an environment that enhances the quality of life for residents.
Must be at least 18 years old. Prior experience in a custodian, janitor, or similar role. Minimum of one year’s experience performing above listed duties. Must be able to perform duties with a minimum of supervision. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, pushing and pulling throughout the day.
