Job summary

The Monarch at Brooklyn Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a qualified Housekeeping Aide to join our team. We provide a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff through dusting, mopping, trash removal, and other duties in accordance with standards.

Hours vary; night and weekend availability is required. Must be 18+, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have reliable transportation. English reading/writing/speaking is required. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident rooms, dining rooms, offices and all general areas of facility by cleaning restrooms, walls, baseboards, doors, mirrors, dusting, removing trash, sweeping, mopping, wiping down tables and furniture while making sure to follow all proper cleaning techniques and protocols.

Salary

Up to $18.00 an hour

Housekeeping Aide Job Description:

Provide a clean and safe environment for our residents, visitors, and staff in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and Quality Center standards. Perform day to day housekeeping services such as dusting, mopping, and collecting trash. Must be flexible, detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task.

Housekeeping Aide Duties Include but are not limited to:

Maintain resident rooms, dining rooms, offices and all general areas of facility by cleaning restrooms, walls, baseboards, doors, mirrors, dusting, removing trash, sweeping, mopping, wiping down tables and furniture while making sure to follow all proper cleaning techniques and protocols.

Housekeeping Aide Requirements/Qualifications:
