Job summary

Laurel Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide for a full-time role from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The position offers a wage of $16.49 per hour. You will maintain cleanliness in resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, stock supplies, and ensure safe use of cleaning chemicals.

Qualifications

• Follow established safety precautions when using cleaning chemicals and use as directed.

Responsibilities

• Clean all assigned areas including resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, nursing stations, handrails, dining rooms, shower rooms, public bathrooms and offices as assigned.
• Keeps utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition.
• Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
• Cleans the inside of resident room windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets, transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Stock housekeeping cart at the end of the day, keeping the cart in a clean orderly fashion with chemicals not in use locked inside the cart.
• Follow established safety precautions when using cleaning chemicals and use as directed.

$16.49 an hour

Responsibilities for Housekeeping Aide:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Clean all assigned areas including but not limited to resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, nursing stations, handrails, dining rooms, shower rooms, public bathrooms and offices as assigned.
