AristaCare At Manchester is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to perform day-to-day housekeeping duties in our long-term care facility, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. Duties include following cleaning schedules, coordinating with nursing staff, and preparing rooms for new residents or discharges.

Candidates should have strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and flexibility with scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility preferred.
• Flexibility with scheduling is required.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Good communication skills are important for team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedules and ensure tasks are completed per shift.
• Report accidents/incidents to supervisor promptly.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing staff.
• Perform resident room cleaning and discharge cleaning, including sanitizing and dusting.
• Replenish supplies and keep housekeeping carts stocked.
• Maintain daily project assignments and adapt to schedule changes.

Job description

The primary purpose of your job position is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, and/or the Director of Housekeeping, to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical.

• Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor no matter how minor they may be. (NOTE: Such occurrences must be reported on the shift in which they occur.)

• Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.

• Performs resident room cleaning and discharge cleaning including dusting, sanitizing, disinfecting, wiping, and scrubbing beds, walls, furniture, and fixtures

• Replenishes soap, paper towels, toilet paper and other supplies as needed

• Keeps housekeeping carts stocked

• Follows daily project assignments.
