Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to provide exceptional service to guests and maintain cleanliness in villas. You will respond to guest requests, deliver items, and manage inventory of linens while adhering to company safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license may be required with at least one year of clean driving history.
• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and weekends.
• Lift/carry/push/pull items that weigh up to 50 lbs without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Deliver guest requests and set up furniture items in guest rooms.
• Identify and report maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
• Strip trash/dirty linen from assigned checkouts.
• Ensure correct inventory of pillows and linens in rooms.
• Clean and maintain assigned buildings/areas daily.
• Stock linen closets in assigned areas daily.

Typical Day Responsibilities

• Respond s promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Deliver s guest requests and sets up furniture items in guest rooms as requested .
• Identif ies and reports preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
• Strip trash /dirty linen from assigned checkouts.
• Ensure correct inventory of pillows, duvet inserts, and toppers remain in the rooms/villas.
• Cleans and maintains assigned buildings/areas daily.
• Uses heavy cleaning equipment such as floor polishers, carpet extractors, etc.
• Stock s linen closets in assigned areas daily with linen and supplies.

Guest Experience and Company Standards

• Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.
• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
• Contribute to team goals.
• Always follow company policies and safety procedures.

To Become a Housekeeping Aide at MVW

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time .
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50 lbs without assistance .
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
