Job summary

Absolut Care of Gasport is seeking a reliable Housekeeping Aide to join our Environmental Services team in Gasport, NY. You will help keep residents’ surroundings clean, comfortable, and dignified, delivering laundry services and supporting infection control measures.

The role is part-time (22.5 hours/week) with pay range $16.65-$19.55 per hour, and opportunities to grow within the facility. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with dependable attendance and teamwork emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Collect, wash, dry, fold, and deliver laundry for residents and facility.
• Sort and wash laundry according to fabric type, soil level, and infection control standards.
• Dry, fold, and distribute clothing and linens throughout the facility.
• Label resident clothing to prevent loss or mix-ups.
• Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety and infection prevention guidelines at all times.
• Keep laundry rooms and carts clean and organized.
• Notify supervisor of any malfunctioning equipment or supply needs.
