Abington Manor is seeking compassionate and enthusiastic part-time Housekeeping Aides to join our caring team in Clark Summit, PA. Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, windows, floors, carpets, and more, with an emphasis on safety and attention to detail.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and successful completion of post-offer background check and drug screen. Daily pay option and comprehensive benefits are among the benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks as assigned, in resident rooms and common areas.
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and polish bathroom fixtures and remove watermarks from fixtures.
• Clean windows, mirrors, floors, carpets, and walls in various areas.
• Remove dirt, dust, grease and disinfect surfaces using appropriate cleaners and safety signs.
• Turn in found articles to supervisor and cross-train in laundry.

Abington Manor is currently hiring for part time Housekeeping Aides! We are looking for compassionate and enthusiastic candidates to join our exceptional team of caregivers!

Requirements of the Housekeeping Aides:

• A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma.
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.

Responsibilities of the Housekeeping Aides:

• Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.
• Clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating or cooling units, etc., in resident rooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed.
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and/or polish bathroom fixtures. Ensure that watermarks are removed from fixtures.
• Clean windows and mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrance or exit ways.
• Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp or wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc. (NOTE: Ensure that appropriate caution and safety signs are properly set up prior to performing such duties.)
• Clean carpets, to include vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
• Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing, etc.
• Remove dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning or disinfecting solutions.
• Clean hallways, stairways, and elevators.
• Turn in all found articles to your supervisor.
• Cross train in Laundry.
